Full Mixdowns & Drum Enhancement

Full Mixdown

The gap between your demo and a release-ready record is where most tracks get lost. A professional mixdown tightens the low end, separates the elements, and gives your production the energy it deserves. Trusted by Defected, Good Company, Glitterbox, and Armada.

The Mixing Process

A great mix isn't about loudness — it's about clarity, balance, and energy. Here's how Sam approaches every full mixdown project.

01

Send Your Project Files

Export all tracks as individual stems. Remove any master bus processing added purely for level, but keep what is integral to the sound. Include any reference tracks you want the mix to sit alongside.

02

Mix Session

Every element is treated individually, kick and bass alignment, drum replacement and enhancement where needed, midrange separation, top-end clarity, and stereo field management. The mix is built on Prism Morpheus converters through PMC MB2-XBD monitors, Yamaha NS10s and Audeze MM 500s to ensure it translates across every playback system.

03

Revision Rounds & Delivery

After the initial mix pass, you receive a high-resolution file for review. Revision rounds are conducted to dial in the balance and feel. Final delivery includes a mix-ready WAV at your preferred sample rate and bit depth, ready for release.

A full mixdown takes all your audio and builds the mix from scratch. Every element is processed individually. Kick and bass alignment, drum replacement and enhancement, midrange separation, top-end clarity and stereo field management, all with the goal of making your production sound like a finished record.

Sam starts from your vision. The reverbs, delays and effects that define your sound stay. What he adds is the technical precision that turns a good production into something that sounds at home on Defected, Good Company, Glitterbox or any major dance label.

Session length varies by project complexity, typically 2 to 3 hours, though more involved productions can run longer. Pricing is confirmed after reviewing your files. The final master is included in the session rate.
