I Want You by Butch & Nic Fanciulli
Mastered by Sam Wills
The record the press called an Ibiza summer record before the summer had started, and what the charts, the DJs and the numbers say it became.
When Butch and Nic Fanciulli put out I Want You on Defected in May 2023, the press was already calling it a summer record. By the end of the year it was in the year-end charts at Beatport, Traxsource and 1001Tracklists, and it has since passed forty million streams on Spotify.

Release day
Defected put it out on 5 May 2023, and the radio show takeover went out the same day. The press called it a summer record from the first week.
“An Ibiza record for the summer if ever there was one”
“A future Ibiza staple.”
The Ibiza summer
By August it was being written up as one of the island's anthems.
It went on Ministry of Sound's Ibiza Sessions 2023 and into Lane 8's Summer 2023 Mixtape.

When the year was totted up, it was in all of them. In October Defected put it on its Sampler EP 18.
Still going
A year on it was still in Traxsource's house chart, and it was picked for Déepalma Ibiza 2024 and for Isaac Likes' ILIKEYOU! Vol. 1 mix.
